Marshall County is located in Northwest Minnesota. It is named for William Rainey Marshall, fifth Governor of Minnesota.
The seat and largest city is Warren. It borders Kittson, Roseau, Beltrami, Pennington and Polk Counties in Minnesota; as well as Grand Forks, Walsh and Pembina Counties in North Dakota.
Main highways include US-59, US-75, MN-1, MN-32 and MN-220.
